This is the first of two Jeffery Mine insulators found next to each other in Colorado. It was a fine Memorial Day weekend, wonderful weather and an unexpected insulator find! What is most curious is that the insulators on either side were both mounted on side pins, yet this one was just wired to the tree; exactly as pictured (before I liberated it!).
