Here are examples of Kerr DP1 flat topped insulators. On the left is a specimen from Millville, NJ, made in 1973. On the right is an example not made in Millville, dated 1978. If you look closely, you can see a slight variation in the profile of the edge of the flat top - it is slightly more rounded on the non-Millville example.
