On my road trip to the Wheaton Collectibles Show I passed on the highway a truck marked "PILKINGTON." I got all excited about the show when I saw the truck because I have been researching this manufacturer of insulators recently! Something told me this was gonna be a great show! And guess what I found at the show- a spool made by Doulton, having a similar symmetrical pattern as Pilkington's logo. Okay, so now we know Doulton made this one!
