Here is a picture of a CD 162 N.E.G.M. Co found on an abandoned Arizona railroad line. It seems a bit out of place, as no others were found in the 25-mile stretch that we picked from. You don't generally see New England pieces out here, much less in recent service. This is the first I have found. It was found a few poles from a Brookfield CD 161.2 Signal, something else you don't see around here. These were found Saturday March 20th 2004. on a hunt along a recently abandoned railroad right of way in Arizona yesterday. While these may look in service, the line has truly been abandoned and verified with the railroad. Many interesting pieces were found.
