This picture is of three different CD 127 embossed "W.U.T. Co. / Cauvets Pat / W. Brookfield" on the front dome and "Feb. 22. 1870 / No 55 Fulton St N.Y." on the back dome. This is a design variation with no lip on the lower wire groove. The picture shows three different mould styles of the variation with no lower lip on the lower wire groove. They all have slight mould variations and show differences in embossing size. I conclude that this is a change of mould design and not just insulators coming from an mould that was prepared in error.
