These are two CD 126 W. Brookfield's which were also found on the Central of Georgia Railway telegraph line running between Fort Valley, GA and Columbus, GA. The one on the left is a deep yellow-olive embossed "Pat March 20 1877 / W. Brookfield" on the front dome and "Pat Jan 25 1870 / Pat Feb 22 1870 / No 55 Fulton St NY". The one on the right has identical embossing, but is a slightly different shade of green than the insulators shown in the previous two pictures. Again, the insulator on the left is the same one shown in the previous two pictures. The green CD 126 March dated Brookfield's were one of my best traders. I'm guessing, but I think I may have traded between 50 to 100 of the green colored CD 126 Brookfield's into the hobby. Although most were traded in the United States, I did make a large trade of these insulators into Canada and Alaska for Canadian glass. I also included some of these in a large trade to Australia for a large lot of Australian insulators. This picture post now completes the documentation of the CD 126 Western Union style pony insulators which were found in Georgia. |
