Here are two more CD 126 Western Union ponies which were found on the Central of Georgia Railway telegraph line running West from Fort Valley, GA to Columbus, GA. The one on the left is glowing yellow-green / chartreuse and is embossed "W. Erookfield / 55 Fulton St N.Y. " on the front dome and "Pat. Feb. 22 1870 / Jan. 25 " / " 14 1879". No you I did not make a typo - the "B" in Brookfield is an "E" embossing error. The CD 126 on the right is an olive-yellow-green with milk, some small cull stones, and bubbles. The embossing is "1/ W. Brookfield / 55 Fulton St. N.Y." on the front dome and "Pat Feb 22Nd 1870 /Jan 25Th. 1870 /Jan. 14 Th 1879". The bulk of the colored CD 126's on this section of telegraph line carried various 55 Fulton St. embossings and were shades of green from light green to a color which was a shade lighter than 7-up green. The deep yellow-green and olive green shades were not that common.
