This photo shows the comparison between the CD 126.1 W U T Co / Cauvets Pat / W Brookfield and a CD 126 (on the left) with is embossed "W U T Co / Cauvets Pat / W Brookfield" on the front crown, "1 / Feb 22 70 / No 55 Fulton St NY", "Pat March 20 1877" on the front wire groove ridge, and "Pat Jan 25 1870" on the back wire groove ridge. Again, note that no periods were used and the small "1" mould mark is the same on both the CD 126.1 unit on the right and the CD 126 unit on the left. The CD 126 WUT Co is also a nice powder blue color and has considerable milk swirls in the glass. The CD 126 WUT Co, while not common, could be found on the Central of Georgia Railway telegraph line South out of Macon, GA. and West out of Fort Valley, GA. Again, I probably recovered and traded maybe 20 or so of these CD 126's into the hobby. I'm sure I passed up many others as there were so many CD 126's on these telegraph lines and from the ground it was not possible to determine if they were CD 126 WUT Co. or the many other common aqua CD 126's. The CD 126.1 units had a shape that could be clearly identified from the ground.
