This is a CD 126.1 crown embossed "W U T Co / Cauvets Pat / W Brookfield" on the front and "1 / Feb 22 70 / No 55 Fulton St NY" in a nice light powder blue. As far as I can see, none of these units used periods after Co., Feb., etc. These insulators look very much like CD 126's except they have the straight down skirt - sort of like a CD 126 / CD 127 hybrid. Although a few of these were found on the Central of Georgia Railway telegraph line between Macon and Albany, GA most came off the section of line that ran West from Fort Valley to Columbus, GA. This was also a fairly good trader and I probably traded maybe 20 to 25 into the hobby. |
