This is the second of the four CD 131 styles which were found on the Central of Georgia Railway telegraph line. This insulator is a CD 131 embossed "Cauvets (arched) / Pat / July 25 1865" on the dome and "W. Brookfield / No. 55 Fulton St N.Y." on the skirt. It is a nice rich blue color with a few small amber swirls. It also has a {MLOD} and a weird "7" with a line going through the top of the seven mould mark. Although the CD 131 was not that common compared to the CD 133's, they were found both North and South of Macon, GA. Out of all four of the different CD 131 "signal" styles found in GA, I believe this is the most common.
