This answers an e-mail question regarding the comparison between the CD 731 and CD 731.3 threadless styles. The insulator on the left is a CD 731 in deep olive amber black glass which was found in PA. The insulator on the right is a CD 731.3 which was found on a railway telegraph line which ran between South Carolina into Georgia. The difference between the two can easily be seen when they are sitting side by side.
