This picture shows the CD 701.6 egg which came from Georgia bottle collector versus one that came from the Richmond, VA find many years later. The egg on the left was obtained in 1970 from Georgia (see the posting for the CD 729). The egg on the right is the one from the Richmond, VA find and was purchased from Ray K several months after the Richmond dig had been closed down. Since I have not seen many of the Richmond egg's, I can't say if the size difference is normal for GA eggs versus eggs found in VA. Although the GA egg is shorter and wider, I would think that there were shorter egg's also found in Richmond.
