The following insulator is a CD 124.1 Patent / Dec. 19. 1871. Back: 4 in nice Sage Aqua-Green. It was found on the Central Georgia Railway line between Fort Valley, GA and Albany, GA. It was one of a kind and I speculate it was utilized as a replacement. I would have expected this insulator to be on an early telephone circuit and not on a telegraph line. In addition, as far as I know these were only found on lines in the Western part of the United States.
