Mike and I went out hunting for insulators today along a power line... and found these candidates for the "ugly insulator" contest. Although rather unusual, they are pretty unattractive. We started referring to them as "turds" when we found them here and there in the bushes. We much prefer classic blonde porcelain.

Seriously, if anyone is actually interested in one (or more) of these, let me know... I can go back and get a couple. They are the same as the ones that normally come in blue. Totally unmarked. Considering the work involved, let's say $20 apiece (shipping not included!)
