Here is a rare pony insulator that seldom comes up for sale (if they do, they are in auction catalogs) and this one is a beauty. This one is a bit of a mystery. It is base embossed (PATD with the D underlined) like many of the insulators Samuel Oakman was associated with. The dome center at the top of the pinhole has a point like Pennycuick insulators have and it has a crude 2 on the dome within a circle like Beaver Falls pieces. The shape resembles Tillotson pieces. The color is a nice rich blue aqua. The condition is superb with bright, shiny glass and just a small pin head tick and small base edge flake mentioned for accuracy. Price $250.00 or trade considered for / towards a like condition CD 102 NW&BIT CO in purple or a mustard / olive CD 102 blobtop Star. If you have something else in mind for a trade, let me know.
