Here's a nice go-with for a Postal insulator collection. These clocks were made by the Hammond company. In the early 1930's, they were hanging on by a shoestring. They managed to get a big contract from Postal Telegraph to supply all their offices with electric clocks. That order kept them in business. Hammond would go on to make a big impact in the music business with the Hammond Organs! These clocks came in two sizes, 12" face like this one, or a 15" face. Some of them were designed to keep running for a half hour without power.
