I purchased this really neat porcelain cleat from a person in Canada. I thought the mounting hardware was unique and never seen this before. I have gotten several cleats and mounting hardware from collecting friend James Mulvey but they were mounted on a flat rack. This piece is marked LC 40 and the bracket is marked LC 17. The shoe was mounted to a building by a bolt in the center. I have yet to find out what Canadian company is LC. I have two other LC cleats, spools and wire holders and they are marked on the bottom with Made in Canada HP (Hamilton Porcelain Ltd.). This one though is just marked with a grid pattern and B. The person I purchased it from said it came off the front of the building they were renovatingi in Cardinal Ontario, Canada. They thought it was interesting enough to save and sell and I am glad for it. Maybe someday I'll find out who that company is.
