Hi folks, I found my third insulator today, but probably in a state in which not many have been found... Purchased it for $5 from an antique shop, well worth the money for the novelty, even though one side is almost completely fractured... This piece was tacked onto a tree at some point, and you can still see the nail hole with part of the nail in it. Apparently this insulator never left the tree it was on and the tree simply grew around it. It was supposedly found while cutting firewood. Came from somewhere in the Western Massachusetts area. Any valuation or comments??
