After the insulator is screwed onto the wooden cob, the insulator base rises slightly above the bottom of the copper bowl. I saw two bowls in the air with Hemi-42 insulators. One of two collectors, Steve Marsh, who originally collected some of these bowls about 8 years ago, told me he observed them with Hemi-40 insulators. This is an extremely cool combination of metal and glass.
