This one appears to be a regular hemi-42 at first sight, but really, it isn't. The embossing on the rear skirt lacks the acronym: U.S.A., so it only reads "MADE IN " This one's quite interesting, I have two that have almost an identical condition. In this one you can just see the slightest bit of the letters "U.S.A." in the shallow depressions where they should be strongly embossed. Maybe some kind of blot out? Any ideas? -------------------------------------------------------- This one was formed by the glass simply cooling too fast to make the full impression of U.S.A. upon touching of that part of the mold. The glass never formed into the embossing. |
