This is the 2nd generation of Hemingray No.4. And this is the earlier variant with the large embossing, shown alongside a first generation Hemingray No.4 - the 124.1 - for comparison of shape and embossing. It was speculated that this piece saw service in southern Ohio, but has been traded around so much over the years that its history has been lost.
