One of my favorite threadless insulators. I've spent a lot of time in the Nevada desert hunting these things, and up to now, all I found were some pieces. This was found by a rancher on his property, and I purchased it from him. These were used on the original transcontinental telegraph line. That line was abandoned around 1869 when the UPRR/CPRR railroad was completed.
