I got this Brookfield CD 102 at a local antique store because of the embossing on the dome & front crown. It should be a [090] embossing index but the dome has a large circular blotout and the front crown has a sideways eight embossed on it. This is not just a case of the hot glass hitting the dome embossing and sliding down it seems to have been put there on purpose. Has anyone seen this embossing before or have any ideas about it?
