As promised, a picture of my finds from a local dump. From left to right: A) 100% black glazed electrical fence insulator, how many pure black glazed porcelain insulators have you seen? Found him in a bathtub full of rusty nails ----- B) regular brown unmarked guy-wire strain, found still attached to original hardware; guy wire, pole clips, anchor. ------- C) Hand-glazed unmarked porcelain guy-wire strain, found scraped up in the dirt after a bulldozer had come and cleaned up one of the piles of junk metal.
