Star-marked insulators were made FOR General Electric by at least four sources, three of which were the successive operators of the Glass Works in Elmer, NJ - Sterling, Harloe, and Novelty. While Novelty never marked insulators with their own name, making just insulators marked for others, Sterling and Harloe did mark some for themselves. Shown are three 102's made from the same reworked mold series by all three companies.
