This picture shows a suspension string of aqua glass bells identical to the type listed as CD 314. The glass appears to be of Hemingray manufacture. A complete unit seems to have had 5 bells. The central shaft seems to be some sort of composite material resembling dense cardboard, and is hollow. The black material is tar. OK, so it's not in the best condition, but at least this way you can see the internal construction!
