This picture shows the bottom construction details. To assemble, first insert the bottom pin into the hollow Micarta tube. Then slide the solid steel pin into the hole in the Micarta tube, through the corresponding hole in the pin, and finally seating in the opposite hole in the core. Slide the metal sleeve (top left) up onto the core, covering the pin so it cannot slip out. After assembling all the glass sleeves, slide the end cap over the pin (holding the glass tightly with extra washers as needed), and secure with the cotter pin.
