Does anyone else out there have one of these? I can't find a listing for it in the price guide. It is 1 3/4" tall by 1 1/2" diameter, which puts it kind of halfway between a CD 1080 and a CD 1085. (update: the consensus is that this is a CD 1080.) It is embossed on the flat area inside the bottom "S S & CO 35". Thanks to the Publications database, I can confirm that it was made by the same Shay Stevens & Co. that made the CD 162 and CD 160 (well, Hemingray probably actually made all of them). http://reference.insulators.info/publications/view/?id=8756 Next photo will be of the bottom, showing the embossing. |
