Many people know these crown emb'd 102's are a specialty collection of mine. This piece rates right up there for ugly! Just a hateful color to hurt the eyes with! Nice of the Brookfield boys to toss in all those seed bubbles to an already pretty insulator! This was an eBay find. After many emails to determine what "green" meant, the seller responded with "swamp green". This showed up with a skirt black with soot, and photos WERE taken BEFORE cleaning to show such a wild piece in it's "fresh" state. The seller double boxed it as requested. I later sent a cheque for triple the original selling amount, on top of the original payment, just because the guy was so cool and the piece was, well ..... ?
