Here's a Locke 'No. 135' that doesn't quite fit the descriptions in the Price Guide. Is it CD 287, a 287.1, or something else? The skirt profiles don't conform to either one (see the next picture), and the embossing pattern is unlisted. This has an inverted '2' on the dome and a front skirt blot-out pattern consistent with F.M. LOCKE VICTOR N.Y./PATD MAY 22 1894 {note the lack of 'CO' or '& CO}. The other notable feature is the mold lines, which are very clear and resemble the "sheet metal" pattern described (but never seen by me) for mold lines on some EC&M 123s. These mold lines wrap all the way around the bottom of the outermost skirt. Was this a Brookfield product? Colors in these pics are exactly as seen with full-spectrum backlighting - a deep yellow green tending toward olive. What do you think?
