Hemi 43 in service, Colonia, NJ

A clear CD 214 with drip points (presumably Hemingray 43) in use on an open wire fire alarm line in Colonia, NJ. This is on the same line as shown in the previous Armstrong/W.T. 51-2U picture. This circuit has both glass and porcelain insulators, new and old intermingled. Many of the insulators are of types which would not ordinarily have been intended for fire alarm use.
