CD 152 Hemingray with a heart on

A number of years ago, I was the guest speaker at a local bottle club meeting. A member of the audience offered me an insulator he had found in a 55 gallon drum of insulators that had an inclusion on top of it in the shape of a heart. I had figured it was nothing more than an unusual swirl in the dome. It was around 10:30 PM when the meeting was over and I had packed up my display. I had an hour drive looking at me, plus I had to unpack and go to school the following day. Although it was late and I was exhausted, I decided to follow him to his home to see the insulator. To my surprise, the heart shaped inclusion was actually caused by a token a worker had placed in the dome that says "FRANK MALONY. <> MUNCIE, IND."

Moral of the story: No matter how unlikely something sounds, take time to check it out.
