...with some strange "shrouds" on the line posts; maybe a type of "dryspot"? I saw these when driving west to the 2004 National in the extremely dim light of the very early morning and could not figure out what style of insulator was being used; the corrugations of the posts were not visible then so I was really flummoxed as to what they were. Bright daylight reveals all.
