These two items are embossed "RED DEVIL" on one side and "PAT. APPD. FOR" on the other. The larger of the two is 5 1/4" high and 2 1/4" wide at the base. The small one is 2 3/4" high and 2" wide at the base. What were they used for and are they common? And do they have a value?
